Pregnancy Yoga training

This training is open to all 200-hour yoga teachers and will enrich your knowledge of everything yoga. It is not necessary to have had children yourself to attend this training. When you think of it, many midwives are not mothers, so why should you be?

Training Overview

This three-week training program delves into the intricate world of feminine energy. As a yoga teacher, you will explore the profound impact of women's hormones on their physical and mental well-being.

We will follow the detailed format of an 85-hour training covering anatomy, physiology, and philosophy. We will learn how the all-important pranayama is so beneficial to the pregnant woman and her partner in calming the nervous system and making space in the body, benefiting both the mother and the baby.

In this crucial period, we'll explore the nuances of adjusting yoga practices to benefit women's bodies during pregnancy, childbirth, and beyond.

As part of completing the certification, you will be asked to attend prenatal classes and review them for the course. These can be done online. You will also be asked to read and review two recommended books and complete an open-book quiz to consolidate your knowledge.

We will use the Anusara Universal Principles of Alignment to learn how opening to Grace with intention and listening to the body enables communication with the subtle and the physical using a feminine approach.

We will dive into the transformative world of Anusara's Universal Principles of Alignment! Discover how embracing grace, muscular and organic energy with purpose and tuning into your body can unlock a powerful connection between the subtle and physical realms through a nurturing feminine perspective.
